Witches Hat

I found these hats and thought I would share it with you.  Thanks Gene. 

There's at surprise under this Witch's hat: it's a miniature Reese's P-Nut Butter cup.

See those stars in front of the hat? They are Gold Party Confetti perfect for this project.



This is what the hats look like during assembly. For each hat, you will need
(1) 1-7/8" Circle
(1) 3-3/4" Circle, cut in half

Apply sticky tape to the P-Nut cup in 3 places. Apply adhesive on half of the straight edge of the circle. 1/8" away from the candy bottom, start to wrap the rounded edge around the the candy. To adhere to the brim, apply a dimensional to the bottom of the candy . You will notice the candy is not flat so a dimensional will work. Using a mini glue dot (see photo below), attach a 6" long cut 1/4" ribbon to the center back and wrap each end around to the front - secure with another glue dot. Attach star with a mini glue dot.

• Stamps: none
• CS: anything you have that looks witchy
• Ink: none
• Accys: Circle Scissor Plus, 1/4" Black Grosgrain Ribbon, 1/4" Only Orange Grosgrain Ribbon, 1/4" Old Olive Grosgrain Ribbon, Sticky Tape, Mini Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Gold Star Confetti (non SU)

July Card Club

Bottom is a box we made where you can cut copy paper (or scraps) and have a noteholder by your phone or desk.  This is also great to put post-it notes in.  Makes a real inexpesive gift for those co-workers, and friends.

June Shoebox Swap

Here are some card we made today at the Shoebox swap

 
We used the bird builder punch for this card and Pear Pizzaz card stock.  She also brought another version of the card in blue.  We all decided that you could use these cards easily for Christmas Cards by adding a Christmas Sentiment.  If you want to see the directions go to cardcornerbycandee,blogspot.com







The front card was made using white card stock base and then blue and white stripes on the left card front with navy/white dotted paper on the lower right front with a solid navy on the upper right card front. We used her beige ribbon for the ribbon pieces and the bow. The little yellow bird and branches were made with a Cricut and cartridge -- he is too cute for sure.




Here are 2 more cards.  The bottom one was made using scraps.  We cut the scraps into strips and used a quilt pattern.  Use the new framelit and stamp from SU.  We all decided we needed to use our Christmas scraps and we could make a terrific looking Christmas card.

The back card was made by using the Reason to Smile stampset.  This set will be available in July for $5 with a $50 purchase or for $20.95 if you don't make a $50 purchase.  IT IS ONLY AVAILABLE IN JULY.

Get Your Christmas Cards Done Early This Year!

 Were you ready to pull your hair out last year getting ready for the holidays.   Did you find yourself not having any cards ready? Did you run out of time and have to go and buy a box of Christmas cards to mail? Or were you so busy that you didn’t mail any Christmas cards at all ?

Christmas Card Class

I will be holding a Christmas Card Class for the next 5 months.  Attend one or more of my Christmas Card Classes and get your cards done before November is over! At each class you will make 10 Christmas Cards complete with envelopes: 2 each of five different designs!  I will have 10 designs to pick from.

Why attend?

• To get your cards in the mail before December.
• You won't have to worry about what kind of card you will make or if you have the stamp set, ink, card stock or embellishments.  Everything will be done for you! I will have the card designed,  cut the card stock and lay everything out for you – all you do is stamp, punch and assemble!
• All card supplies are included in the class fee of $30 (please bring your favorite adhesive and paper snips)
• If you purchase a minimum of $25 in Stampin-Up product the night of the class, you will get half of your class fee back!

July 29th at 2:00 pm
August 26th at 2:00 pm
September 23rd at 2:00 pm
October 28th at 2:00 pm
